Marilyn has been in the real estate industry since 1978 and more than 22 of those years were devoted exclusively to the management of the Corporate Relocation Division of Sunset Company-Prudential California Realty. As a Relocation Specialist, she was a charter member of the national Relocation Directors Council that was formed to gain insight into the complexities of the rapidly growing Relocation Industry and to encourage high levels of ethical and professional competency. She was also very involved nationally with the Employee Relocation Council and other relocation related networks where she was frequently asked to assist with educational training. She also provided ongoing relocation training and relocation industry updates for agents within Sunset Company-Prudential California Realty.
Marilyn has many years of experience working with major corporations and relocation management companies. She was responsible for the corporate inventory from Camarillo through Santa Maria and she managed a team of agents to assist her with the day to day marketing of the properties. She was responsible for and the single point of contact for all negotiations and contracts with the Corporations and Relocation Management Companies. Her expertise included marketing local corporate real estate inventory, group moves as well as consulting with and assisting corporate transferees find new homes to purchase in the Santa Barbara area. This background and experience has given her a tremendous foundation for working with Buyers and Sellers.
